Hunrentech Ltd. is the new technology transfer company of the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network. We were established to help researchers bring scientific results from the laboratory into real-life applications.
Our everyday work is grounded in a practical, competence-based approach: we involve experts in intellectual property, business development, and innovation. Together, we support researchers in turning their ideas and results into real solutions, products, or services.
Our primary goal is not to “act on behalf of” researchers—although we do aim to take over many of the necessary but more tedious tasks—but to prepare every researcher with entrepreneurial potential for what to expect during the utilization process. We want both researchers and potential investors to begin their shared but sometimes winding commercialization journey with the greatest chance of reaching their destination.
